Bangladesh’s spin duo Nasum Ahmed and Sheikh Mehedi Hasan have entered the top ten of the bowlers’ rankings in T20. Nasum Ahmed has secured a place in the eighth position by advancing three places. Mehedi Hasan has risen to the ninth position by advancing 10 places.

On the other hand, India’s Shreyas Iyer has got his career-best ranking by scoring a century in T20 international cricket for the first time. He has advanced 18 places in one leap in the batters’ rankings by playing an unbeaten innings of 102 runs off 43 balls in the first match of the series against the West Indies. With that, Iyer has risen to the career-best seventh position.

With this performance, rising to the seventh position in the rankings, he is now the third highest ranked batter of India.

India’s own Ishan Kishan has retained the top position. Ishan, who scored an unbeaten 37 runs off 27 balls, is at number one. Abhishek Sharma, who scored 21 runs off 10 balls, is at number two. After these two and before Shreyas are Pakistan’s Sahibzada Farhan, England’s Harry Brook and Jos Buttler and South Africa’s Dewald Brevis.

West Indies’ Sherfane Rutherford has taken a big leap in the rankings. This batter, who scored 56 runs off 34 balls against India, has risen from the 47th position to the 37th position.

Pakistan’s Abrar Ahmed has lost the top position in the bowlers’ rankings. Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan has newly risen to number one.

In the semi-final of the Asian Games, Abrar had taken no wicket conceding 29 runs and in the final one wicket for 29 runs. That performance was not enough for him to retain the top position. Currently he is at number two.

On the other hand, Rashid Khan has risen to the top of the T20 bowlers’ rankings for the eighth time in his career. The Afghan star has spent more than double the time in this position than any other bowler.
