Nepal's President sends greetings to President Mirza Fakhrul

Nepal's President Ram Chandra Poudel has congratulated Bangladesh's newly elected President Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir.

In a congratulatory message on Friday, August 21, the Nepalese President wished the newly elected President success in his new role.

In the message, he reiterated Nepal's commitment to further strengthening the longstanding friendly relations between Nepal and Bangladesh. He also emphasised the importance of further strengthening the deep ties and mutual connections between the peoples of the two countries.

The Nepalese President said Nepal and Bangladesh, bound by historical and people-to-people ties, will continue close cooperation in the future as well.
