Netanyahu has long surpassed Hitler in terms of genocide: Erdogan

Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan on Wednesday condemned Israel’s actions in Gaza, accusing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of committing genocide that surpasses even that of Adolf Hitler.

Erdogan described Israel’s attacks as “illegal” and “crazed,” labeling them “state terrorism.” He defended Iran’s response to these attacks as natural, legal, and legitimate self-defense.

“Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu has long left Hitler behind in terms of genocide,” Erdogan said.

Speaking to members of his ruling AK Party in parliament, Erdogan also criticized Israel for targeting Iran—Turkey’s neighbor—without waiting for the outcome of ongoing nuclear negotiations between Washington and Tehran. He emphasized that Turkey prefers diplomatic solutions and expressed Ankara’s willingness to contribute to resolving the conflict peacefully.
