New Zealand set 274-run target for India
New Zealand set a target of 274 runs for the hosts India in the ICC ODI World Cup match in Dharamsala today. Batting first, the Kiwis were bowled out for 273 runs in 50 overs.
Number 4 batter Daryl Mitchell scored an excellent century. After losing 2 wickets for 19 runs, Mitchell made a partnership of 159 runs with Rachin Ravindra. Rachin played an innings of 75 runs off 87 balls. The Kiwis lost rhythm after Rachin's departure. However, Mitchell played an innings of 130 runs off 127 balls before returning to the dressing room. He hit 9 fours and 5 sixes in this innings.
Both the teams are in great form in this World Cup. India and New Zealand have won each of the four matches they played so far. Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya is not playing today due to injury. Shardul Thakur is out of the action as well. Suryakumar Yadav and Mohammad Shami are playing today.
