New Zealand win toss, invite Bangladesh to bat first

Bangladesh are taking on the high flying New Zealand in their third game of the ICC Cricket World Cup today at M Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The Kiwis won the toss and invited Bangladesh to bat first.

New Zealand regular captain Kane Williamson returned to to the side after a long time. Bangladesh made a change in the XI as Mahmudullah is playing in place of Mahedi Hasan.

Bangladesh won the first match against Afghanistan by six wickets but lost their second game to defending champions England by 137 runs. On the other hand, New Zealand, the current runners-up of the tournament, won both of their fixtures. The Black Caps crushed England by nine wickets and then outplayed Netherlands by 99 runs.
