Nora Fatehi reveals why she harboured resentment towards men
Bollywood actress and dancer Nora Fatehi has opened up about a sensitive aspect of her personal life. She has shared that a childhood family experience created a deep resentment towards men.
Nora said her parents separated when she was very young, and she had no contact with her father afterwards. This absence left a profound impact on her mind.
She admitted, "I have daddy issues, and that's completely my personal problem."
She further revealed that her 'abandonment issues' or fear of being alone often kept her stuck in unhealthy relationships. According to her, the fear of loneliness forces people to stay in relationships that are not truly happy.
Nora believes that to build healthy relationships, one must first identify their inner problems. It is not right to sustain a relationship by sacrificing self-respect — rather, conquering one's fears is what matters.
She shared that growing up in a conservative family environment while trying to balance modern life once left her under immense mental pressure. During those difficult times, her mother stood by her as her greatest strength.
She is still trying to overcome these psychological complexities. Nora advises that giving oneself time, understanding one's mistakes, and seeking professional help when needed are the ways to move towards a healthy life.
