Oppo K15 launch confirmed for July 24 with massive 8,000mAh battery
Oppo has officially confirmed the launch date for the third entry in its K15 lineup, scheduling the standard Oppo K15 to debut in China on July 24 at 10am. The upcoming smartphone, which is already available for pre-order on the company’s official online store, follows the April release of its premium siblings, the Oppo K15 Pro and K15 Pro+. Ahead of its official unveiling, a live listing on Oppo's e-store has exposed the device’s complete design, color variations, and primary specifications.
The smartphone stands out primarily for its exceptionally robust power system and thermal design. It is confirmed to pack a massive 8,000mAh battery that supports 80W wired fast charging, bypass charging capabilities, and a specialized Glacier Battery Energy Gathering chip to maximize efficiency. To keep temperatures in check during intensive workloads, Oppo has outfitted the handset with both an active cooling fan and a substantial 4,950 square millimeter vapor chamber cooling system to prevent performance throttling.
Under the hood, the Oppo K15 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Super processor integrated with Oppo's proprietary Tidal Engine. The listing confirms that the phone will be available in at least a 12GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration, and consumers will have a choice between two color options designated as Gale Grey and Rapid White. Outside of China, tech industry experts project the global and regional market pricing for this particular configuration to sit in the mid-range segment, translating to a probable price of around 48,000 BDT to 53,000 BDT in the Bangladeshi market if it arrives through unofficial or official import channels.
On the outside, the device sports a flat 6.59-inch display and boasts a highly durable IP69 rating for superior dust and water resistance. The camera configuration is equally high-spec, utilizing a dual rear setup that pairs a 50-megapixel primary camera featuring optical image stabilization with a secondary 50-megapixel ultrawide sensor. For front-facing photography, the device relies on another 50-megapixel camera module. For enhanced location tracking and navigation accuracy, the Oppo K15 is also equipped with dual-frequency GPS and three-frequency BeiDou support.
