Over 3,000 killed in Iran since war began: Official
More than 3,000 people have been killed in Iran so far in the ongoing war with Israel and the United States, according to a senior Iranian official cited by the Associated Press.
Abbas Masjedi, head of Iran's Legal Medicine Organisation, said over 3,000 people have been killed in enemy attacks, the state-run daily Iran reported.
Masjedi did not provide details on the ratio of civilian to military casualties. The Iranian government has not yet released a specific or final list of casualties from the weeks-long war.
