Overstaying in USA may risk permanent ban
The United States Embassy in Dhaka has issued a stern warning, stating that travelers who overstay their authorised period in the U.S. may face deportation and a permanent ban from re-entering the country in the future.
In a Facebook post published on Thursday (June 5), the embassy emphasised that exceeding the duration permitted by a U.S. visa is a serious violation of immigration laws.
"If you stay in the United States after your authorised travel period has expired, you may be deported and permanently banned from traveling to the United States in the future," the post read.
The embassy strongly advised all visa holders to strictly adhere to the travel period granted by U.S. authorities, warning that failure to do so could result in severe and long-lasting consequences.
