Pakistan all out in Miraj's fiver, Bangladesh in lead
With Mehedi Hasan Miraj's brilliant bowling, Pakistan were all out for 386 runs in the first innings. As a result, Bangladesh took a 27-run lead in the first innings.
Miraj achieved another five-wicket haul in his career. His controlled bowling saw Pakistan's innings wrapped up at 386 runs.
In the first session of the third day, Salman Ali Agha and Mohammad Rizwan tried to rescue Pakistan, who were under pressure after losing 4 wickets. Together, the two put up a crucial partnership of 119 runs to put pressure on the Bangladeshi bowlers.
However, Taijul Islam broke that crucial partnership before the tea break. Rizwan left the wicket while playing a big shot with his ball. Mahmudul Hasan Joy easily caught the ball floating in the sky. Rizwan returned to the dressing room with 59 runs off 79 balls.
At the tea break, Pakistan's collection was 349 runs for 6 wickets. They still needed 64 runs to match Bangladesh's first innings score. However, in the end, the visitors could not progress much due to the whirlwind of Miraj.
