Pakistan announce squad for Bangladesh T20I series

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced a 16-member squad for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Bangladesh.

The squad has been formed based on performances in the ongoing HBL PSL. Salman Ali Agha has been named captain, with Shadab Khan as his deputy.

All three matches will be held at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore from May 27. The series will start on May 27.

Notably, star players such as Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and Shaheen Shah Afridi have been rested in this series. Babar and Rizwan have not been considered for the T20 team since last December.

Initially, the two teams were scheduled to play a five-match series, but it has been reduced to three matches due to various circumstances and conditions. After completing the series against the Emirates, the Bangladesh cricket team will head to Pakistan for their next tour.
