Pakistan has extended its greetings and felicitations to the government and people of Bangladesh on the occasion of its great Independence and National Day. The greetings were conveyed in a message sent by the Foreign Ministry of Pakistan on Thursday (March 26). The message said that the government and people of Pakistan extend their heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the government and people of Bangladesh on the occasion of Bangladesh's Independence Day. At the same time, it has been wished for continued peace, progress and prosperity of Bangladesh. It also mentioned that Pakistan hopes to further deepen the existing cordial relations and cooperation between the two countries.

বাংলাদেশের মহান স্বাধীনতা ও জাতীয় দিবস উপলক্ষে দেশটির সরকার ও জনগণকে শুভেচ্ছা ও অভিনন্দন জানিয়েছে পাকিস্তান। বৃহস্পতিবার (২৬ মার্চ) পাকিস্তানের পররাষ্ট্র মন্ত্রণালয় থেকে পাঠানো এক বার্তায় এই শুভেচ্ছা জানানো হয়। বার্তায় বলা হয়, বাংলাদেশের স্বাধীনতা দিবস উপলক্ষে পাকিস্তানের সরকার ও জনগণ বাংলাদেশের সরকার ও জনগণকে আন্তরিক অভিনন্দন ও শুভকামনা জানাচ্ছে। একই সঙ্গে বাংলাদেশের অব্যাহত শান্তি, অগ্রগতি ও সমৃদ্ধি কামনা করা হয়েছে। এতে আরও উল্লেখ করা হয়, দুই দেশের মধ্যে বিদ্যমান সৌহার্দ্যপূর্ণ সম্পর্ক ও সহযোগিতা আরও গভীর করার প্রত্যাশা রয়েছে পাকিস্তানের পক্ষ থেকে।
