Pakistan seal T20 series 2-1 against Windies
Pakistan sealed a 13-run victory over West Indies in the third T20I at Lauderhill in Florida on Monday morning, clinching the three-match series 2-1.
After electing to bat first, Pakistan rode on a blistering 138-run opening stand between Sahibzada Farhan and Saim Ayub. Farhan smashed 74 off 53 balls with five sixes, while Ayub added 66 off 49. Late wickets slowed Pakistan, who finished on 189/4.
In reply, West Indies made a fiery start, scoring 30 runs in the first 10 balls. Jewel Andrew (24), Alick Athanaze (60), and Sherfane Rutherford (51) kept the chase alive, but regular wickets derailed the momentum. Sufiyan Muqeem dismissed Jason Holder for a duck, and Rutherford's late fireworks weren’t enough as the hosts ended on 176/8.
Pakistan had earlier won the series opener by 14 runs, while West Indies leveled with a dramatic two-wicket win in the second match.
