Paul Kapur to arrive in Dhaka on Wednesday to strengthen US-Bangladesh ties
Assistant Secretary of State for the Bureau of South and Central Asian Affairs, S Paul Kapur, is arriving in Dhaka on Tuesday, March 3, to strengthen US-Bangladesh relations.
This information was provided in a statement issued by Purnima Rai, spokesperson of the US embassy in Dhaka, on Monday, March 2.
The statement said the visit aims to further strengthen the US-Bangladesh strategic partnership. During the visit, Assistant Secretary Kapur will meet with various officials of the new government and business leaders.
Discussions will focus on expanding bilateral trade and investment, enhancing security cooperation, and advancing shared interests in the Indo-Pacific region.
