Popular actor Shams Suman passes away
Popular actor and station chief of private radio station 'Radio Bhumi' Shams Suman has passed away. He was 58.
He breathed his last at a private hospital in the capital at 6:45 pm on Tuesday (March 17).
Shams Suman started his acting career with stage plays and later gained equal popularity in both television and films. However, he has been seen less in television dramas recently.
In addition to acting, he was serving as the station chief of 'Radio Bhumi'. Shams Suman was a member of Rajshahi University's recitation organization 'Swanon' and has played an active role in the cultural arena for a long time.
His notable films include Man Janena Moner Thikana (2016), Coxsbazare Kakatua (2016), Chokhe Dekha (2016), Priya Tumi Sukhi Hao (2014), Ayana Kahini (2013), Bidrohi Padma (2006), Joyjatra (2004), Namuna (2008) and Hello Amit (2012).
He also won the National Film Award for his supporting role in the film 'Swapnopuran' in 2008.
