Pori Moni tops Bangladesh celebrities with most Facebook followers

Actress Pori Moni has achieved a new milestone in the entertainment industry, becoming the Bangladeshi celebrity with the highest number of Facebook followers.

Checking the verified Facebook pages of two top stars on Monday (July 28) morning, Pori Moni's follower count stood at over 1.70 crore, while Shakib Al Hasan's followers exceeded 1.60 crore. Pori Moni now leads by approximately 10 lakh followers, securing the record for the most Facebook followers among Bangladeshi celebrities.

Pori Moni follows 161 individuals and organisations from her Facebook page, including Argentine football legend Lionel Messi, Dhallywood superstar Shakib Khan, veteran actress Shabnur, and Bollywood stars Hrithik Roshan, Vidya Balan, Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal and Shraddha Kapoor. She also follows Hollywood actor Morgan Freeman, pop star Taylor Swift, and many other local and international entertainment and sports personalities.

Pori Moni began her career in 2013 with the film 'Bhalobasha Shimahin'. While she may not have achieved consistent box-office success, her active presence on social media and her personal life have kept her in the public eye. Her massive Facebook following has helped her remain a regular topic of discussion beyond the silver screen.
