The Netherlands have announced a strong team for the World Cup, led by captain Virgil van Dijk. The announced squad includes 15 footballers who have played in the English Premier League, which further strengthens the balance and experience of the team.

Despite the fear of injury, the Netherlands' top scorer Memphis Depay and Arsenal defender Jurgen Timbers have found a place in the team. The 32-year-old Depay has scored a maximum of 55 goals for the national team so far. However, due to thigh and calf injuries, he has recently been able to play very limited time for Brazilian club Corinthians.

Jurgen Timbers has returned to the team after recovering from injury. He has joined the club training again as part of the preparation for the Champions League final.

The team also includes Crescencio Somerville and goalkeeper Robin Rufus, who are awaiting their debut. Midfielder Maarten de Roon, who has played 42 international matches so far, has returned to the national team after almost two years.

The Netherlands will play two warm-up matches before the World Cup—against Algeria on June 3 and Uzbekistan on June 8.
