Price of 12kg LPG cylinder reduced by Tk26

Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) has announced the new price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) at the consumer level.

For the month of November, the price of a 12kg cylinder has been reduced by Tk26 to Tk1,215, which was Tk1,241 in the previous month. The new price will be effective from Sunday (November 2) evening.

In addition, the price of autogas has also been reduced. Now the new price of autogas per liter is Tk55.58, which was previously Tk56.77.

Earlier in October, BERC had reduced the price of a 12kg cylinder by Tk29 to Tk1,241 and the price of autogas by Tk1.38 to Tk56.77.

According to BERC data, the price of LP gas and autogas has been reduced in four phases so far in 2024, increased in seven phases and remained unchanged in one phase. Last year, prices increased in January, February, March, July, August, September and October, and decreased in April, May, June and November. Prices remained unchanged in December.
