Primary Scholarship exams begin nationwide today

The 2025 primary scholarship examinations begin across Bangladesh today (April 15), with the Bangla paper scheduled from 10:00am to 12:30pm, according to the Directorate of Primary Education.

The exam routine was approved at a National Steering Committee meeting of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education on March 5, followed by the publication of a detailed schedule.

As per the timetable, the English exam will be held on April 16, followed by Primary Mathematics on April 17, and Bangladesh & Global Studies along with Primary Science on April 18. Each exam will start at 10:00am and continue for two and a half hours.

However, a revised schedule is being followed in the three hill districts—Rangamati, Khagrachhari and Bandarban—where the exams will begin on April 17 with Mathematics and conclude on April 20 with English.

Authorities also said an additional 30 minutes has been allocated for candidates with special needs.
