Priyanka Chopra to receive 'Global Vanguard Honour' at Gold Gala

The fifth 'Gold Gala', organised by the US-based organisation Gold House, is set to be held. This event, which has been running for five years, honours individuals for their outstanding contributions to various industries. It is considered one of the most prestigious awards for the Asia-Pacific community in the United States.

According to the organisers, Bollywood and Hollywood actress Priyanka Chopra will be presented with the 'Global Vanguard Honour' at this year's event on May 9.

Jet Li will receive the 'Gold Legend Honour' and Simu Liu will receive the 'Gold Mogul Honour' . Charles Melton, Eileen Gu, and Revathi Advaithi are also on the honours list.

Bowen Yang will open the ceremony with a special monologue. Asif Ali, Saagar Shaikh, and Poorna Jagannathan will perform in the second segment. Hayley Kiyoko will perform a musical number.

Following the ceremony, a joint party hosted by the Billboard and Gold House founders will be arranged. Drag race stars Nymphia Wind and Plastique Tiara will perform, and Jo Taslim will present a DJ set.

Priyanka Chopra is currently busy with several projects. In India, she is working on the pan-Indian film 'Varanasi', directed by SS Rajamouli, which is scheduled for release on April 7, 2027. Internationally, she is awaiting the release of the second season of her popular series 'Citadel', which will premiere on a streaming platform on May 6.
