Products Apple unveiled along with iPhone Duo

Apple has finally unveiled the first-ever foldable iPhone putting an end to long-standing speculation. This new smartphone named ‘iPhone Duo’ can be folded like a book. The device was unveiled under the leadership of new Chief Executive John Ternus at Apple’s September event organized in California of the United States. Along with this iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max have also come to the market.

iPhone Duo has a 7.6-inch internal display and a 5.4-inch external screen. Apple’s new A20 Pro chip has been used in the device. Touch ID has been kept on the side button of the phone for security. The initial price of the foldable phone has been fixed at 1,999 US dollars.

On the other hand, iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Pro Max have the A20 Pro chip, improved camera system and new generation vapour chamber cooling technology. Apple has added variable aperture facility for the first time in the 48-megapixel main camera. At the same time the Dynamic Island has been made smaller compared to before. The prices of iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max start from 1,199 and 1,299 dollars respectively.

Along with the new iPhone Apple has further improved the artificial intelligence-based ‘Siri AI’. With iOS 27 it will get the capability to work more effectively by understanding the personal context of the user. Various facilities of Apple Intelligence have also been added in the new operating system. iOS 27 will be available on compatible devices from September 14.

Apple has also brought a new generation smartwatch at the event. Apple Watch Series 12 has a new health sensing system, S11 chip and ‘Readiness’ feature. Along with measuring heart rate and heart rate variability at higher frequency there will also be the facility of detecting important sounds and alerting. The price of Series 12 has started from 399 dollars. Along with this Apple Watch Ultra 4 has also been unveiled.

Besides Apple has also unveiled the new AirPods 5. The special attraction of the new model is the active noise cancellation facility with open-ear design. Overall Apple has emphasised connecting hardware and artificial intelligence technology more closely through the new iPhone, foldable device, smartwatch and AirPods.
