Rajinikanth’s ‘Jailer 2’ to release worldwide on October 15

Sun Pictures has announced that the highly anticipated movie ‘Jailer 2’ starring South Indian superstar Rajinikanth will release in theatres worldwide on October 15. The wait of the audience regarding the second instalment of the movie has been long after the first instalment ‘Jailer’, released in 2023, achieved great success at the box office. This time the makers have ended that wait by informing the release date.

Recently rumours spread on social media that ‘Jailer 2’ is not releasing at the scheduled time. Discussion was also ongoing that the release may be delayed due to reshooting some scenes of the movie. However, the production house Sun Pictures has directly rejected these rumours.

In a post given on social media on Wednesday (September 2), Sun Pictures informed that ‘Jailer 2’ will release in theatres worldwide on October 15. That is, there is no basis for the news of the release being delayed.

After the success of the first instalment, naturally the expectation of the audience regarding the second instalment is much higher. Rajinikanth received widespread praise by acting in the character of Tiger Muthuvel Pandian in ‘Jailer’ released in 2023. He will be seen in that popular character in the new instalment as well. Ramya Krishnan will be with him, who will act in the character of Vijaya Pandian.

The makers have not yet revealed any detailed information regarding the story of ‘Jailer 2’. However, there is rumour that the story of the new instalment will start from where the story of the first movie ended. The mystery of what happened next in the lives of Jailer and his son may be unveiled on the screen this time.
