Rajshahi Warriors clinched the Bangladesh Premier League title with a commanding 63-run victory over Chattogram Royals in a one-sided final. Batting first, Rajshahi posted 174 runs for 20 overs before restricting Chattogram to 111.

This is Rajshahi’s second BPL title, having previously won the trophy in the 2019–20 season as Rajshahi Royals. In BPL history, Comilla Victorians have won the title a record four times, while Dhaka have lifted the trophy three times. Barishal and Rajshahi have won twice each, and Rangpur Riders have won once.

At Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Chattogram captain Sheikh Mehedi Hasan won the toss and opted to bowl. Rajshahi got off to a flying start as Tanzid Hasan Tamim and Sahibzada Farhan put on an 83-run opening stand. Farhan was dismissed for 30 off 30 balls.

Tanzid then added 47 runs for the second wicket with Kane Williamson, who scored 24 off 15 balls before falling to Shariful Islam.

Tanzid continued his dominance, bringing up both a half-century and a century. It was the fourth century of this BPL season and made him only the third batter to score a hundred in a BPL final, after Chris Gayle and Tamim Iqbal. His innings ended at 100 off 62 balls, featuring six fours and seven sixes. Captain Najmul Hossain Shanto scored 11, while Jimmy Neesham remained unbeaten on 7.

For Chattogram, Shariful Islam and Mukidul Islam took two wickets each.

Chasing 175, Chattogram collapsed early, losing two wickets for 18 runs. Mohammad Naim Sheikh scored 9 off 10 balls, while Mahmudul Hasan Joy was dismissed for a duck. Hasan Nawaz made 11 off 7 balls.

Wicketkeeper-batter Jahiduzzaman and Mirza Baig tried to steady the innings, but their slow scoring put the match beyond reach. Jahiduzzaman scored 11 off 13 balls, while Baig made 39 off 36.

Asif Ali scored 21 off 16 balls and Aamir Jamal made 8, but neither could build momentum. Sheikh Mehedi Hasan scored 4, Shariful Islam 0, Tanvir Islam 1 and Mukidul Islam 1.

For Rajshahi, left-arm pacer Binura Fernando starred with four wickets for just nine runs in three overs. Hasan Murad took three wickets, while Jimmy Neesham claimed two and Abdul Gaffar Saklain took one.
