Rakesh Rakib honored at Eid Lifestyle Fashion Runway

Fashion photographer Rakesh Rakib finds satisfaction in capturing light and moments in his own way. Born and raised in Barisal, this photographer has been working with photography for a long time. The beginning was not easy, but patience and concentration have brought him a different identity.

He is a fashion photographer by profession. Although he was active in wedding photography from 2010 to 2019, fashion photography gradually became his main field of work. He feels comfortable working in natural light.

Coming to Dhaka from the limited opportunities in Barisal and establishing himself was a big challenge in his career. At that time, the photography field was not so extensive, and the job opportunities were also few. However, his unremitting hard work and confidence have taken him forward. He has created his own unique position through continuous work in the last sixteen years.

New recognition was added to his path at the ‘Eid Lifestyle Fashion Runway’ event organized on February 17. There, he was honored for his contribution to fashion photography. The moment became a special achievement for him, with applause from his colleagues and guests present.
