Rashmika, Vijay are married

Ending a long-standing love and rumors, South Indian stars Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna finally tied the knot. The popular couple tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Udaipur, India on Thursday (February 26) morning.

The name given by the fans is 'Virosh' - the entire arrangement was arranged with that name. The wedding ceremony began at the luxurious ITC Memento, about 25 kilometers from the city.

The auspicious time was 8am, and the marriage was completed at 10:10am. The ceremony saw a combination of Vijay's Telugu tradition and Rashmika's Kodava culture.

The pre-wedding ceremony started on Tuesday. Pictures of the customized field market and popcorn bucket made for 'Virosh Premier League' went viral on social media. Haldi and mehendi were held on Wednesday. However, they have not released the actual wedding pictures yet, which has increased the interest of the fans.

The ceremony was attended by close family and select guests from the film fraternity. Directors Tharun Bhaskar, Rahul Ravindran, actresses Isha Rebba, Ashika Ranganath and producer Sandeep Reddy Bhanga were seen in Udaipur.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was also invited. Although he could not attend, he sent a message of greetings.

Rumors of their relationship started after they worked together in Geetha Govindam in 2018 and Dear Comrade in 2019.

After a long silence, they got engaged in an intimate ceremony in October last year. Four days before the wedding, they officially announced their relationship by posting the same message on social media - in the name of the love of their fans, 'Veerosh's' marriage.
