Due to rising military tensions between Israel and Iran, unprecedented caution has been issued for air routes. According to information available up to Friday noon, Israel, Iran, Jordan, and Iraq have announced the closure of their airspace. At the same time, all commercial flights have been suspended.

According to the BBC, this unprecedented caution in air routes has been issued due to the military tensions between Israel and Iran. As of Friday noon, Israel, Iran, Jordan, and Iraq have closed their airspace and suspended all commercial flights.

According to data from FlightRadar24, a global flight monitoring website, no commercial flights are currently operating in the airspace of the aforementioned four countries.

Air France has announced that all flights to and from Tel Aviv have been suspended until further notice. Lebanon is also canceling flights one after another.

Due to fears of military conflict in the Middle East, at least 16 Air India flights have either turned back or changed routes. The Indian airline stated through its X handle that this decision was taken due to the situation developing in the Middle East.

Most of the flights that had to return or change routes were heading to or coming from Europe and North America.

Air India has said that alternative arrangements are being made to ensure that passengers on those flights reach their destinations.

Due to the tension in the Middle East, international airlines are simultaneously issuing warnings to avoid using the air routes. Observers believe that fearing a worsening war situation, other airlines may also decide to avoid the region.
