Rojina visits Elias Kanchan's residence, seeks everyone's prayers

Veteran Dhallywood actress Rojina recently visited legendary actor Elias Kanchan at his Gulshan residence after he returned home following 15 months of medical treatment in the United Kingdom.

During the visit, Rojina exchanged pleasantries with Elias Kanchan and inquired about his health condition. Later, she shared several photos of the meeting on social media and sought prayers from the nation for his speedy recovery.

Sharing multiple photos with Elias Kanchan, Rojina wrote, "Elias Kanchan, an actor of Bengali cinema, returned to Dhaka from London a few days ago. I went to meet him at his Gulshan residence. Kanchan has not fully recovered yet; InshaAllah he will get well soon."

Informing about the next phase of Kanchan's treatment, Rojina added, "Doctors in London have said he will go back to London on the 12th of this month for further treatment. Please pray for Kanchan. May Almighty Allah grant him speedy recovery."

Rojina also mentioned in her social media post that Kanchan's wife, children and son-in-law are regularly looking after him.

Elias Kanchan has been undergoing treatment for a brain tumour for a long time. He has been receiving medical care in the United Kingdom since April last year. Although he underwent surgery on his brain in August last year, the tumour could not be completely removed due to complications.

According to reports, following doctors' advice, he underwent about 100 chemotherapy sessions in three phases. Despite prolonged treatment, he has not shown the desired improvement, and he is set to return to the United Kingdom to continue his treatment. The actor has returned home for a few days in between.
