Bangladesh High Performance (HP) team continued their impressive run in the Top End T20 tournament in Darwin, Australia. They secured a seven-wicket victory over Northern Territory Strike, thanks to Mohammad Rubel's brilliant bowling and Sabbir Rahman's effective batting. With this win, table-toppers Bangladesh HP confirmed their place in the semi-finals.

Winning the toss and batting first, Northern Territory Strike were under pressure from the Bangladesh bowlers from the start. At one stage, they were reduced to 97 for 8. A late recovery helped them reach 143 for 9 in their 20 overs. Jordan Silk top-scored for the hosts with 31, while Matt Hammond made 26 and Cadel McMahon contributed 25.

Rubel led the bowling attack for Bangladesh, claiming five wickets for just 21 runs. The mystery spinner's performance prevented Northern Territory Strike from posting a bigger total.

Chasing 144, Bangladesh HP did not have a comfortable start. Ariful Islam departed in the third over, raising early concerns. Sabbir Rahman then steadied the innings, scoring 47 off 37 balls with two fours and a six, falling just three runs short of a half-century but guiding the team towards victory.

After Sabbir's dismissal, there was some pressure, but it did not last long. Habibur Rahman Sohan's 22 off 18 balls and Samiun Basir Ratul's unbeaten 14 off 8 deliveries helped Bangladesh reach the target with 10 balls to spare and secure a three-wicket win.
