Sabila Noor returns to OTT with 'Faisha Gechi'

After acting in television dramas and commercial films, model-actress Sabila Noor is returning to OTT platforms once again. She will appear before the audience on August 20 with the comedy flash fiction 'Faisha Gechi', directed by Mahmudur Rahman Himi.

'Faisha Gechi' revolves around the bizarre incidents in the life of a ride-share driver. While the story is told through humour, it touches on themes of opportunity, greed and guilt. Alongside Sabila Noor, the cast features Dibya Jyoti, Arfan Mridha Shiblu and Karobi Mizan. The content has been jointly produced by Alpha-i and Chorki.

Sabila Noor is thrilled about her new project. She said, "I always try to ensure that one project does not resemble another. After 'Bonolota Express' and 'Rockstar', 'Faisha Gechi' is a completely different experience for me. I really enjoyed working on a comedy genre story. I hope the audience will enjoy it too."

Although she began her acting career with television dramas, she has since established herself in OTT platforms and films. She wants to work regularly in all three mediums. Sabila said, "I come from television dramas. That is my root. I have done several OTT projects, and the audience has received them well. Then I moved to films, where the audience has also embraced me wonderfully."

According to her, the preparation required for dramas, OTT projects and films are not the same. Films require a long preparation period, so she cannot always work in dramas or OTT projects. However, she considers her identity as an actor, not the medium, as more important. Therefore, she wants to continue acting in all three mediums whenever she gets the opportunity.
