Samantha Ruth Prabhu is expecting her first child with Raj Nidimoru

Popular South Indian actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu is reportedly set to embrace motherhood for the first time, according to multiple Indian media reports.

However, neither Samantha nor her husband Raj Nidimoru has officially confirmed the development.

According to a report by Indian media outlet NDTV, sources close to the couple claim that the star duo, who tied the knot on December 1 last year, are expecting their first child.

The reports have generated widespread excitement among fans across India and beyond.

Speculation intensified after a video from the success celebration of Samantha’s latest film, Maa Inti Bangaram, went viral on social media. Fans pointed to what they believed was a visible baby bump, fueling rumors that the actress is pregnant. Since then, social media has been flooded with congratulatory messages from admirers and well-wishers.

Samantha and Raj first grew close while working together on the acclaimed web series The Family Man. Their relationship later became the subject of public interest after several joint appearances, eventually culminating in marriage in December last year.

Amid the growing speculation, an old interview of Samantha has also resurfaced online. In the clip, the actress appeared emotional while watching a video message from Raj, who praised her dedication, versatility, and achievements across both the Tamil and Telugu film industries.

The couple recently collaborated once again on Maa Inti Bangaram, directed by Nandini Reddy. The filmmaker and Samantha previously delivered the successful Oh! Baby, which received widespread acclaim from audiences.

Before her marriage to Raj, Samantha was married to Naga Chaitanya. The couple ended their four-year marriage before Chaitanya later married Sobhita Dhulipala.
