Samira Khan Mahi enters car business alongside acting

Samira Khan Mahi, a well-known face in the acting world, has now ventured into business. The small-screen actress has started this new journey as a director and shareholder of a car sales company named 'Speedtouch Autos'.

Regarding her new business, Mahi said providing customers with good quality cars, fair prices and competitive advantages in the market for brand new, reconditioned and pre-owned cars is one of their company's primary goals. She plans to take the business forward by earning customers' trust.

Mahi had been thinking about two businesses alongside acting for a long time. She has now formally announced the car business. The actress said she will share details about her other venture very soon.

Mahi has significantly reduced her acting work over the past two years. She cited creating alternative sources of income as one of the main reasons behind this. Instead of keeping acting as her only profession or source of income, the actress wants to maintain the freedom to work according to her own choices by being involved in business.

According to Mahi, she now wants to work only if she likes the story and character. She believes that if she is not dependent on regular acting to meet her financial needs, the opportunity to choose her preferred stories and characters will increase further.

Meanwhile, Mahi is not taking a complete break from acting. She has recently signed for two new mini-series titled 'Mayar Sansar' and 'Kormofol'. In 'Kormofol', a family drama directed by Mahin Khan, Mahi stars alongside Dilara Zaman, Irfan Sajjad, Mahmudul Islam Mithu, A K M Hasan, Deepa Khandakar and Monira Mithu.

On the other hand, in the series 'Mayar Sansar', directed by Mohammad Omar Faruk, her co-stars include Nader Chowdhury and Monira Mithu. Both series are scheduled to be released soon on the 'Cinemaala' YouTube channel.
