Samsung Galaxy A37 5G is quickly becoming one of the most talked-about mid-range smartphones of 2026, offering flagship-inspired features at a budget-friendly price. Samsung’s latest A-series device combines a large AMOLED display, strong battery life, improved cameras and long-term software support, making it a strong competitor in the under-$500 smartphone category.

The Galaxy A37 5G features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness reaching up to 1900 nits. The phone also includes Gorilla Glass Victus+ protection and carries an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, improving durability compared to previous models.

Powered by Samsung’s Exynos 1480 processor, the smartphone is available with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage. However, Samsung has removed the microSD card slot, meaning storage cannot be expanded externally.

Samsung has equipped the device with a triple-camera setup led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS). The phone also includes an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 5MP macro lens. According to early reviews, the A37 performs especially well in low-light photography and delivers colorful, detailed images that compete closely with the Google Pixel 10a.

On the front, users get a 12MP selfie camera capable of recording 4K video. Samsung has also introduced several AI-powered features, including Google Circle to Search, enhanced voice transcription tools and the Object Eraser feature borrowed from the company’s flagship Galaxy S series.

Battery life is another major highlight of the Galaxy A37. The device packs a 5,000mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging. In testing, the phone reportedly achieved over 29 hours of video playback, outperforming many competitors in the same price segment. Wireless charging, however, is not included.

The Galaxy A37 runs Android 16 with Samsung’s One UI 8.5 interface and comes with an impressive six years of Android OS and security updates, giving users long-term software support rarely seen in the mid-range market.

The phone is expected to retail at around $449 for the 128GB model and approximately $540 for the 256GB version. In Bangladesh, estimated pricing could range between tk 55,000 and tk 68,000 depending on the variant and taxes.

While some compromises remain — including the absence of wireless charging and expandable storage — the Galaxy A37 5G is being praised as one of Samsung’s best value smartphones for users seeking premium features without flagship pricing.
