Sarab Azman receives honours for music

Young vocalist Sarab Azman has received multiple honours for his special contribution to patriotic songs. He is currently residing in the United States for higher studies.

Sarabh Azman began his musical journey in 2011. That year, he participated in Channel i’s popular music competition "Khude Gaanraj" and secured a place among the top 16. Later, in 2023, he took part in another Channel i competition, "Sera Kantha", and advanced to the quarter-finals. After completing the competition, he went to the United States on a scholarship to pursue his studies.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in classical music from Jagannath University. Currently studying at Central Michigan University in the United States, Sarab Azman remains actively involved in practising Bengali music and regularly releases original songs alongside his studies.

During a vacation in Bangladesh, his patriotic song “Banglake Khuje Pai”, produced by Sound Hacker, was released. In addition, two of his original songs—“Sottikarer Tui Chai” and “Tui Amar Shuru”—are awaiting release. Another song titled “Tumi Chhara Bhalo Lage Na”, directed by Anuruddha Shubho, is also set to be released soon.

In recognition of these works, Sarab Azman has recently received the Dhallywood Award 2025 (Rising Singer), Victory Award 2025, Star Achiever Award 2025, Diamoni E Communication Iconic Star 2025, Sohana International Business Award 2025, and BGCF Award 2025.

His released songs have already received a positive response from listeners. Despite living abroad, the young artist continues to work to promote Bengali music and the culture of Bangladesh.
