Saudi Arabia has issued a stern warning to Iran, saying attacks on the kingdom or Gulf states will not be tolerated and that coordinated military action may be taken if necessary.

Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud made the remarks on Thursday (March 19) following a meeting of Arab foreign ministers in Riyadh.

He called on Tehran to immediately reassess its regional strategy, reports BBC.

He accused Iran of carrying out deliberate, premeditated attacks, citing the precision of recent strikes, despite Tehran’s denials. However, he did not specify when or how Saudi Arabia might respond, noting that such disclosures would be “unwise,” and added, “Our patience has limits, and it is not infinite.”

The warning comes after attacks on energy facilities in the Gulf, including Qatar’s Ras Laffan Industrial City and the UAE’s Habshan gas plant. Qatar condemned the strikes.

Earlier, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps had threatened energy facilities in Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE as potential targets.

Saudi Arabia’s defense ministry said it intercepted four ballistic missiles aimed at Riyadh, while the UAE reported shooting down multiple missiles and drones.

Faisal warned that even if the current crisis ends, rebuilding relations with Iran will be a long and difficult process, as mutual trust has already been eroded. Continued attacks could make future reconciliation nearly impossible.
