Saudi Crown Prince announces to boost US investments to $1 trillion
Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS) has announced plans to increase Saudi investments in the United States from $600 billion to nearly $1 trillion.
The announcement was made in Washington, DC, on Tuesday (November 18), alongside US President Donald Trump, reports Anadolu Ajansi.
Prince Mohammed bin Salman said the investment will include multiple agreements in technology, artificial intelligence, and other sectors, creating significant opportunities for both countries.
“We hope to formally announce today or tomorrow that Saudi investment in the US will rise to nearly $1 trillion,” he said.
President Trump welcomed the announcement, expressing surprise and appreciation for the scale of the investment.
Saudi Ambassador Princess Reema bint Bandar al Saud called the meeting “a highly significant day” for US-Saudi relations, noting that the agreements will boost investment, create jobs, and strengthen regional and global security cooperation.
