Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Khaled bin Talal has passed away after being in a coma for nearly two decades. His father, Prince Khaled bin Talal, confirmed the news on Saturday.

In 2005, at just 15 years old, Prince Alwaleed was seriously injured in a road accident in London, UK. At the time, he was studying there as a military cadet. The accident caused severe head injuries and internal bleeding, which led to his coma. He remained in a coma for 19 years, earning him the nickname "The Sleeping Prince."

His family continued to make every effort for his recovery over the years. In a video shared five years ago, he was seen slightly moving his fingers while still in a coma, offering a glimmer of hope to many. However, despite the dedicated care of specialist doctors from the United States and Spain, his condition showed no improvement.
