Senegal is putting on a dominant display against 10-man Iraq as they fight to keep their World Cup campaign alive. Before the match could even cross the 60-minute mark, the African side secured a commanding lead by scoring three goals.

An aggressive Senegal side took an early lead in the 4th minute through Habib Diarra. Iraq then suffered a massive blow in the 13th minute when Rebin Sulaka was shown a straight red card for pulling Sadio Mané's jersey to stop him. The decision, upheld after a lengthy VAR review, reduced Iraq to 10 men.

Senegal turned up the pressure even further in the second half. Ismaïla Sarr doubled the lead in the 56th minute. Just three minutes later, in the 59th minute, Pape Gueye found the back of the net to make it 3-0, leaving the 10-man Iraqi defense completely overwhelmed.

This Group I match was a do-or-die encounter for Senegal. Having lost 3-1 to France and 3-2 to Norway in their previous two matches, Sadio Mané's side entered the fixture with zero points. A big-margin victory was essential to keep their Round of 16 hopes alive, and Senegal is currently on track to achieve just that.
