Shah Rukh Khan breaks silence on ‘Dhurandhar’, praises both parts

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has finally shared his reaction to Ranveer Singh’s action film ‘Dhurandhar’, praising both parts and the work of the entire team.

During a social media Q&A with fans on Tuesday (September 15), a follower asked Shah Rukh whether he had watched the film. “I loved both parts. The entire team has done an amazing job,” the actor replied.

Shah Rukh’s comments have sparked fresh buzz around the film, as he had previously remained silent despite widespread praise for the project from Bollywood stars including Akshay Kumar, Karan Johar, Alia Bhatt, Ayushmann Khurrana, Riteish Deshmukh, Shilpa Shetty and Preity Zinta.

Hrithik Roshan, Anupam Kher and Rajkummar Rao have also praised the film.

The appreciation extended beyond Bollywood, with South Indian stars Ram Charan, Allu Arjun and Vijay Deverakonda also speaking positively about the film and its cast and crew.

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh is busy with his upcoming film ‘King’, directed by Siddharth Anand. The project marks the big-screen debut of his daughter Suhana Khan. Deepika Padukone, Abhay Verma, Raghav Juyal, Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan, Arshad Warsi and Anil Kapoor are also part of the cast.

Directed by Aditya Dhar, ‘Dhurandhar’ was released on December 5, 2025, while its sequel, ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’, hit cinemas on March 19, 2026. Both films drew strong audience interest and performed successfully at the box office.
