Shah Rukh Khan praises Alia Bhatt’s action avatar in YRF Spy universe Film 'Alpha'

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has given a special shoutout to his Dear Zindagi co-star Alia Bhatt following the release of the highly anticipated teaser for her upcoming action thriller, Alpha.

Taking to his Instagram Stories, King Khan—himself a major face of the YRF Spy Universe—praised Alia's intense transformation on Wednesday. "Well done Alia, in years from breaking hearts and now to breaking bones your skill set keeps expanding," he wrote, playfully adding, "Go get them Sigma Girl."

Shah Rukh also reserved high praise for Bobby Deol, who plays a prominent role in the film, writing, "Lord Bobby....you are so good when you are bad!!! Big hug."

The 1-minute-55-second teaser gives audiences a first glimpse into the origin story of Alia’s character, Sita, who is recruited into "Alpha," a top-secret training program for India’s next generation of elite soldiers.

Directed by Shiv Rawail and co-starring Sharvari, Alpha marks the first female-led installment in the blockbuster YRF Spy Universe. Yash Raj Films has advanced the movie's worldwide theatrical release by a week, scheduling it to hit cinemas on July 3.
