Shah Rukh Khan retains richest Indian actor title despite wealth drop

Shah Rukh Khan has retained his position as India’s richest actor, despite a sharp decline in his estimated wealth over the past year, according to the Hurun India Rich List 2026.

The Bollywood superstar’s net worth is pegged at Rs 10,000 crore, with his wealth extending beyond films to businesses including Red Chillies Entertainment and Knight Riders Sports.

Veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan ranks second among Indian actors with an estimated wealth of Rs 4,000 crore, followed by Salman Khan at Rs 3,000 crore and Hrithik Roshan at Rs 2,500 crore.

Shah Rukh’s current wealth, however, is significantly lower than the Rs 12,490 crore reported in the 2025 Hurun India Rich List—a decline of about Rs 2,490 crore in a year.

The figure also differs from Hurun’s Global Rich List released in March, which estimated his wealth at around Rs 10,800 crore. The variations reflect differences in the lists’ valuation dates and assessments.
