Shakib Al Hasan has been excluded from the Bangladesh squad for the Test match against South Africa in Mirpur. He will be replaced by Hasan Murad, who has not yet made his Test debut. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced this in a press release on Friday (October 18). Hasan Murad was included in the Test squad against New Zealand last year but has yet to make his international Test debut. He was part of the Under-19 World Cup-winning team in 2020. The following year, the left-arm spinner made his first-class debut for Chattogram Division against Rajshahi. To date, he has played 30 first-class matches and claimed 136 wickets, including an impressive 12 instances of taking five wickets in an innings.
