Shakib Khan's movie removed from Star Cineplex

Six movies were released this Eid, including Shakib Khan's 'Antaratma' at the last minute. However, there was no much promotion for the movie. Even Shakib Khan and other actors were not very active in the promotion.

Despite the lack of promotion, the movie was released in 21 theaters, including single screens and multiplexes. However, the movie is no longer being shown in Star Cineplex.

The film was removed from Star Cineplex on the second day of its release. It was removed from the screening list a day before its scheduled release due to poor commercial response. On the other hand, the number of shows of another Shakib Khan film, 'Barbad', has increased as it has attracted more viewers.

Star Cineplex Senior Marketing Officer Mezbah Ahmed said, "We reduce the screening of films that fail to attract viewers and increase the number of shows for popular films. The removal of 'Antaratma' has increased the number of shows for other films."

Other movies released this Eid include 'Dagi', 'Jungli', 'Jeen-3', and 'Chakkar 302'.
