Shakib practices in Mirpur just after a day of winning national election

The day after he was elected to the parliament, Shakib Al Hasan hurried to his former residence. This star all-rounder sprung up out of nowhere in Mirpur.

A person's roots should never be overlooked, no matter how far they may ascend. Shakib Al Hasan once again demonstrated this. Shakib is a 22-yard guy all the time. But he's got two identities right now.

In addition to the world's best all-rounder, he’s also a new member of parliament. The twelfth national election was held in Bangladesh on Sunday. Shakib participated in this election. He was the candidate from Magura-1 seat.

However, Shakib won with huge votes defeating his rival. He became an MP for the first time. Normally the first day is supposed to be busy. But Shakib rushed to Mirpur.

He returned to his old address, Mirpur on Monday. Shakib Al Hasan is also seen practicing in Mirpur. The Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) is ahead. Shakib practiced in Mirpur to prepare himself before the biggest tournament of domestic cricket in Bangladesh. BPL is scheduled to start on January 19.

In the 12th National Parliament election, Shakib Al Hasan was elected from the Magura-1 constituency on behalf of the ruling party Bangladesh Awami League. Shakib was elected Member of Parliament of Magura-1 Constituency by getting 185,388 votes in the first election. His closest rival Bangladesh Congress candidate Advocated Rezaul Hossain got 5994 votes.
