Shiloh Jolie, daughter of Jolie and Pitt, appears in K-pop music video
Shiloh Jolie, daughter of former Hollywood power couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, is set to appear in a major K-pop music video.
The teaser for popular K-pop artist Dayoung's new song 'What's a Girl to Do' has generated significant buzz, with Shiloh at the centre of attention. Her dancing skills and screen presence in just a 26-second clip have captivated audiences.
The 19-year-old's inclination toward dance is not new. She had been training for a long time at various studios in Los Angeles. However, her debut in the highly competitive K-pop industry has come as a surprise to many.
Notably, she earned the opportunity on her own merit. Production company Starship Entertainment said artists were selected through open auditions in the United States. Shiloh secured her place in the project through that audition process. The company was not aware she was the daughter of Jolie and Pitt until after shooting was completed.
The music video was shot in Seoul and Paris and is expected to be one of the year's biggest budget productions. Shiloh's older brother Maddox Jolie-Pitt had previously established a connection with South Korea through his studies at Yonsei University.
The full video is set to be released next week.
