Mohammad Shishir Monir, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami candidate and senior lawyer of the Supreme Court, has congratulated BNP’s candidate Nasir Uddin Chowdhury in the Sunamganj-2 constituency (Dirai-Shalla). On his verified Facebook page, he wrote, “Congratulations to Mr. Nasir Uddin Chowdhury. Wishing you all the best.” Out of a total of 109 polling centers in this constituency, results from 105 centers have been announced. According to the results, BNP’s candidate Nasir Uddin Chowdhury is leading by nearly 50,000 votes.
