Shooting of long-delayed film 'Golap' likely to begin in July

The long-stalled film 'Golap' has once again come into discussion, with shooting expected to begin in July if all goes according to plan, according to those concerned.

Interest in the film was revived following a social media post by actress Parimoni on Monday, June 8. The matter was later confirmed by the film's lead actor, Nirab, who said that although the project had been postponed multiple times for various reasons, preparations are now underway to start shooting.

"We have been discussing the matter regularly with the production team. I have also spoken with Parimoni about it," Nirab said.

The director and crew are currently making preliminary preparations targeting July. An official announcement will be made once the shooting date is finalised.

The thriller film, based on the realities of a small town against a political backdrop, has been written by Anik Biswas and will be directed by Samshul Huda under the banner of Golpo Wala Production. Work on the film had been suspended for a long time due to various complications, and the renewed preparations have sparked curiosity among film enthusiasts.
