Sifat Nusrat wins praise as 'Niharika Sen' teaser generates buzz

The teaser of the much-talked-about web series 'Niharika Sen' has been released, drawing widespread praise from viewers and generating fresh excitement across the country's digital entertainment scene.

At the centre of the attention is model-actress Sifat Nusrat, whose performance in the titular role has received an overwhelmingly positive response. Her portrayal of the female detective has quickly become one of the most discussed aspects of the teaser.

Reacting to the audience response, Sifat described Niharika Sen as a major milestone in her career.

"This project has been a turning point for me. Although it's not my first work, Niharika Sen has significantly expanded my professional opportunities. Since the teaser's release, the audience response has been incredible, and I'm optimistic about the journey ahead," she said.

Beyond playing the lead role, Sifat also created the character of Niharika Sen, while the screenplay was written by Mohammad Farhad Hossain Fahad. The series' first chapter was directed by Naziri Sagar, with Monira Mithu and Mir Rabbi appearing in other key roles.

The production team has yet to reveal the full cast, while filming for Chapter Two is currently underway in Cox's Bazar.

Director Naziri Sagar said the series introduces a refreshing concept by centring on a female detective, a character rarely explored in Bangladeshi productions.

"Sifat Nusrat brings intelligence, personality and strong acting ability to the role. I believe she has given life to a unique character that audiences will connect with," he said.

With its mystery-driven premise and positive early reception, Niharika Sen is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated digital releases in the local entertainment industry.
