South Africa 'A' awaits Bangladesh 'A' with strong squad

Cricket South Africa has announced a strong squad for two series against the Bangladesh A team. The South Africa A squad for the two four-day matches features six players with Test experience: Gerald Coetzee, Senuran Muthusamy, Sheopo Moreki, Zubayr Hamza, Lesego Senokwane, and Cody Yusuf. Also included is top-order batsman Sinethemba Qeshile, who has played two ODIs and two T20Is.

The first four-day match of the A team series will begin on August 16 in Potchefstroom, followed by the second match starting on August 23 in Benoni.

Most recently last May, Coetzee, Hamza, Senokwane, and Yusuf played for the A team against England's second-string side, the Lions. Qeshile played against the same opponents in June.

Coetzee, Hamza, Qeshile, and Yusuf are also included in the 15-member squad for the one-day series against the Bangladesh A team. Marques Ackerman will captain the host side in both series. The schedule for the one-day series has not yet been announced.
