'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' to release in Bangladesh before US

The much-awaited 38th film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the fourth instalment of the Spider-Man series, 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day', is generating huge excitement among fans. The film is set to release worldwide, including in the US, on July 31. However, it will hit Bangladeshi cinemas a day earlier, on July 30.

Star Cineplex, the country's largest multiplex chain, confirmed the news on Monday afternoon. The film will be screened at all its branches from July 30.

Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the film features Tom Holland reprising his role as Spider-Man, alongside Zendaya as MJ. Alongside the return of Zendaya, Jacob Batalon and Mark Ruffalo as Hulk, the film also introduces several new faces.

With Peter's memory erased from MJ's mind, she has moved on in her life. 'Ahsoka' actor Eman Esfandi plays MJ's new boyfriend in the film. 'Stranger Things' actress Sadie Sink appears in a mysterious role. Adding to the excitement, Jon Bernthal returns as his iconic character 'Frank Castle' or 'The Punisher' on the big screen following his appearance in the popular Netflix series 'Daredevil'.

Fans are eagerly waiting to see how Peter Parker's new chapter begins after 'Spider-Man: No Way Home'. The film is set four years after that story.

Beyond its story and visual effects, the film is also notable from a technological standpoint. It is the world's first film to be produced entirely under the 'Shot for Screen-X' initiative. Screen-X is an advanced cinema projection technology that extends the visuals to the side walls of the theatre, offering audiences a 270-degree panoramic viewing experience.
