US-based company Starlink has announced free internet access for Venezuela following the American military operation in the country. The service will remain free until February 3, according to the company.

In a post on X, Starlink said it would ensure uninterrupted broadband connectivity during the ongoing crisis. Venezuela has faced repeated allegations of online censorship, with the Maduro government previously blocking platforms such as Facebook, YouTube and Instagram.

Starlink is a satellite internet service operated by SpaceX, founded and led by Elon Musk. Venezuela has long faced complaints over internet blackouts, restrictions and slow connections.
